About Leafy Lovers

Leafy Lovers began with a simple love for plants — and a desire to create something meaningful.

After spending many years working as a police officer while raising my daughter, life was often busy and fast-paced. Like so many mums, I was constantly juggling work, motherhood and everything in between. During those years, I found myself drawn to the calm that plants brought into our home — a small way to slow down, switch off and create a little peace amongst the everyday chaos.

Eventually, that love of plants grew into Leafy Lovers.

Today, as a single mum and small business owner, Leafy Lovers means more to me than ever. It’s something I’ve built with a lot of heart, and I’m incredibly proud of the warm little community that has grown around it.

And while plants will always be where it started, Leafy Lovers has become so much more.

Alongside our plants and handcrafted terrariums, you’ll find beautiful gifts, candles, jewellery, homewares and other pieces I genuinely love. I’m a big believer that the things we bring into our homes — or choose for someone special — should make us feel good, which is why everything in the shop is thoughtfully selected.

Supporting other small businesses is also a huge part of Leafy Lovers. Many of the pieces you’ll find in store are created by talented Australian makers and small businesses, so when you shop with us, you’re often supporting more than just one small business.

More than anything, I want Leafy Lovers to feel welcoming — somewhere you can wander in, have a look around, find a beautiful gift (even if it’s for yourself!), and hopefully leave with something you love.
